OrbitBooth uses the device camera to record photos and videos (including 360 spin videos) for event booth sessions. Media is stored in the app's private storage on your device until you choose to sync it to the cloud, save it to your Photos library, or share it.
OrbitBooth does NOT collect face data. The app does not use face recognition, face detection, face tracking, facial landmarks, face mesh, the TrueDepth camera, ARKit face tracking, Face ID, or any other biometric technology. The app does not create, extract, analyze, or store any facial templates, vectors, geometry, or measurements.
Photos and videos captured in the booth may show guests' faces, but only as ordinary photo/video content that the user deliberately records. The app does not process this content to recognize, identify, or analyze faces; effects (filters, frames, music, logos) are applied to the whole frame and do not rely on face position.
Use: photos and videos are used only to display, edit, save, and share booth sessions at the user's request. They are never used for advertising, AI/machine-learning training, or authentication.
Sharing with third parties: we do not sell, rent, or share photos or videos with third parties. Only when you choose to sync, videos are stored on Supabase Storage (our storage infrastructure provider) in a private folder tied to your account, and are viewable only by people who have a share link / QR code you created. Firebase Analytics/Crashlytics and RevenueCat never receive photos, videos, or face data.
Storage: on your device (app-private storage) and, if you enable sync, on Supabase Storage with private access controls.
Retention: on-device media is kept until you delete the session or uninstall the app. Cloud videos are kept until you delete the session or your account; deleted content is permanently removed from the cloud within 30 days. Share links expire automatically (7 days by default).
Deletion: you can delete any session in the app at any time, or delete your account in the app / via support email; all related photos and videos are permanently deleted within 30 days.
When you sign in, account data (email, display name, user ID) is handled by Supabase Auth via Google Sign-In or Sign in with Apple.
Only videos you choose to sync are uploaded to your private Supabase Storage folder. Nothing is uploaded automatically unless you enable sync.
Share links / QR codes create time-limited access tokens (7 days by default) so guests can view or download a session without an account. Expired links can no longer be accessed.
Supabase (accounts and cloud storage), Google / Apple (sign-in), Firebase Analytics & Crashlytics (anonymous usage analytics and crash reports), RevenueCat (subscription management). None of these services receive face data.
You can delete sessions in the app at any time. Deleted content and accounts pending deletion are permanently removed from our servers within 30 days. Account deletion can be requested in the app or via support email.
